Volunteers have made a valuable contribution to the River South Esk catchment.
The Cairngorms National Park volunteer programme works with AngusAlive Rangers at Glen Doll on habitat and estate management tasks such as path maintenance, fencing and invasive species control, as well as monitoring and surveying of species such as raptors.
The Mountains and The People project is the largest upland path project undertaken in the UK to date. As part of this project volunteers built upland paths to Loch Brandy and to sites in and around Glen Doll.
