For over 20 years the River South Esk Catchment Partnership has worked with communities, landowners and businesses across the catchment area. The Partnership leads and supports project delivery and policy that improve the health of the River South Esk catchment and its varied ecosystems, whilst taking into consideration surrounding land use and wider community interests.
The catchment faces ongoing pressures, often amplified by the nature and climate crises. The Partnership aims to work with its varied membership and communities to increase the resilience of nature, places and the economy in this very special part of North East Scotland.
