Cairngorms 2030 is a partnership of 70+ organisations across 20 long-term projects, aiming to generate transformational change which will improve health and wellbeing, deliver on climate change and enhance nature in the National Park.
The River South Esk Catchment Partnership was able to expand its work beyond the River South Esk catchment in the development and feasibility phase of the project. In addition to exploring river restoration opportunities at Dalgety, south of Brechin, the Partnership also investigated possibilities in the neighbouring River North Esk and Isla catchments.
